Your local doctor's office caring for patients since 1973

Our Story

The Beginning.  Dr. Terry Hunt was the founding doctor of Oxford Internal Medicine. After spending his undergraduate years at Miami University, Dr. Hunt knew he wanted to eventually settle down in a college town. Attending Ohio State Medical School, interning at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, doing his residency at Summa Hospital in Akron, and serving as a Medical Officer in the U.S. Navy took Dr. Hunt away from Oxford for many years. After these valuable experiences, Dr. Hunt finally returned to his old college town and established his medical practice in 1973.

Years of Growth.  Oxford Internal Medicine was exactly what Oxford needed. Its early years found much success and soon Dr. Hunt was bringing in more doctors to help care for the growing number of patients coming to the practice. This growth also led to the expansion of the practice into Indiana.

Our Team. Today, Oxford Internal Medicine has a team of five doctors and more than a dozen staff members serving patients in four locations. After over 40 years of caring for patients in Ohio and Indiana, the practice continues to give every patient the same care and attention that helped make Oxford Internal Medicine a prominent member of the medical community.

Why We are Unique

We see patients at the hospital.
If you are admitted to McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital for any reason, you will continue to be cared for by the doctors of Oxford Internal Medicine. Today many internal medicine doctors do not see patients at the hospital, but Oxford Internal Medicine is committed to personal care for all its patients. Our doctors care for patients both at the office and at the hospital.

Four of our doctors are Miami Grads.
With our central office located in the heart of Oxford, we are proud to recognize four of our doctors as Miami University Alumni: Dr. Terry Hunt, Dr. Brent Bader, Dr. Molly Emmert, and Dr. Kami Park. Go Redhawks!

Annual participation in Relay for Life.
Each year Oxford Internal Medicine participates in the Relay for Life fundraiser, raising money for the American Cance Society. Led by team leader Dr. Molly Emmert, our doctors and staff collect donations throughout the year and join together to support this great cause.
